He completed a fellowship in abdominal imaging at Duke University Medical Center, which included training in musculoskeletal magnetic resonance imaging. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his residency at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1993, he is a member of many national, regional and local radiological societies. With a special interest and extensive experience in musculoskeletal MR, Dr. Tishler works closely with orthopedists and sports medicine physicians to provide optimal care for amateur and professional athletes.
