Gregory R. Weaver, M.D.

Dr. Weaver received his B.S. in Physics with High Distinction and his medical degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. His diagnostic radiology residency was performed at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, where he was Chief Resident from 1984 – 1985. This was followed by an imaging fellowship (Nuclear Medicine and Magnetic Resonance Imaging) at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He was Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1985 and the American Board of Radiology with Special Competence in Nuclear Radiology in 1986. He is a Fellow of the American College of Nuclear Medicine and head of the Nuclear Medicine Department at Nashville Baptist Hospital. Dr. Weaver is a member of many radiological societies, including the Society of Nuclear Medicine, Radiological Society of North America, American College of Nuclear Medicine, and Institute for Clinical PET. His areas of professional interest include nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology. Dr. Weaver is the Chief of the Department of Medical Imaging at Baptist Hospital.
