She received her medical education at the University of Philippines College of Medicine in Manila. Her residency and fellowship in Cross Sectional Imaging were performed at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, Yale University School of Medicine. She also performed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and Radiotherapy at the University of the Philippines-General Hospital, where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Moran has received numerous awards and delivered numerous lectures. She is a member of many medical societies, including Radiological Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
