S. degree in microbiology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana before earning a medical degree from the Louisiana State Medical Center at Shreveport in 1983. Following medical school, he completed an internal medicine internship and diagnostic radiology residency at Ochsner Foundation Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Schofield completed a fellowship in Body Imaging-MRI/CT/US at the University of Texas Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, Texas followed by a three-year clinical appointment in body imaging at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Prior to joining Radiology Alliance in 2007, Dr. Schofield was in private practice in Alexandria, Louisiana.
