Dr. Griffin received a Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina. He earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, completed a transitional year internship at Methodist University Hospital, and performed a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Tennessee/Methodist Healthcare, all in Memphis, Tennessee. Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology, he completed a Diagnostic Neuroradiology Fellowship at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
