She performed a diagnostic radiology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina, where she also competed fellowships in Breast Imaging and Nuclear Medicine. Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, she is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Radiology, Society of Nuclear Medicine and American Roentgen Ray Society. Prior to joining Radiology Alliance, Dr. Penzegrau was an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina.
