Each visit for medical imaging is billed separately. You may receive a bill
directly from your radiologist, separate from the facility where the imaging
procedure was performed. Separate billing makes insurance claims and payments
easily accountable. Accounts can be combined for your convenience by calling
our billing office at (615) 312-0600.
We accept payments by cash, check (personal and/or insurance), money order and
VISA/MasterCard. Please, for your protection, do not send cash in the mail.
Even if your insurance is a PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) or an HMO
(Health Maintenance Organization) there may still be co-pays, co-insurance
and/or deductibles owed. You will be sent a billing statement from our office.
We ask that you be prompt in payment of any amount owed.
Your monthly billing statement will notify you of the services rendered, any
payments we have received from your insurance company, any problems we have
encountered in attempting to collect for our services from your insurance
carrier and finally, the amount you owe. We do utilize outside collection
companies when necessary to collect overdue amounts. If you are experiencing
financial hardships, please call our billing office to discuss these issues.
Radiology Alliance PC welcomes you as a patient. Our physicians are committed
to quality patient care. Our billing staff is here to make every effort to
assist you in filing and collecting your healthcare benefits. We work
extensively with insurance companies to assure that you receive the maximum
reimbursement as defined by your plan coverage. To avoid any problems and to
expedite the process, we ask that you make every effort to notify us
immediately of any changes or corrections in your insurance coverage or carrier
status. If you are experiencing any difficulties with your benefits or
insurance carrier, we suggest you contact your employer’s personnel or human
resource department, your insurance agent or your insurance carrier. You may
also express concerns or complaints regarding your benefits or insurance
carrier to the Consumer Insurance Services Division of the Tennessee Department
of Commerce & Insurance. Consumer Insurance Services can be reached by calling
(615) 741-2218 or (800) 342-4029.
