John D. King, MD
Prior to joining Radiology Alliance in 1999, Dr. King was an Assistant Professor of Radiology and the Radiology Residency Program Director at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Memphis. During that time, he was actively involved with several multi-institutional breast cancer research projects. He also served on the medical staffs of the University of Tennessee Hospital, the VA Medical Center and the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis in 1988 and completed his diagnostic radiology residency there in 1992. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. King's specialty areas of interest include breast imaging, interventional mammography and breast MRI. Currently, Dr. King serves as the Medical Director of Breast Imaging Services at Summit Medical Center. In his time away from work, Dr. King is active in his church and enjoys sailing and traveling.
