Keith R. Parker, MD
Dr. Parker received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee in Martin, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee in 1988 and completed a surgery internship at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. As a radiology resident at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, he served as the Chief Resident from 1996-1997. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Parker completed an interventional radiology fellowship at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. He has a special interest in interventional oncology, including RFA (radiofrequency ablation), SIRT (hepatic selective internal radiation therapy) and hepatic chemoembolization. He is also experienced in UFE (uterine fibroid embolization). Dr. Parker is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Society of Interventional Radiology. Dr. Parker and his wife, Pam have two rescue Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties) and they support the Middle Tennessee Sheltie Rescue.
