R. Steven Young, MD
Dr. Young received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia and earned his medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. After medical school, he completed an internal medicine internship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina followed by a diagnostic radiology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. While at Vanderbilt, he served as Chief Resident of Radiology. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2011, Dr. Young returned to Virginia to complete a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Virginia Health System. Prior to joining Radiology Alliance in 2014, Dr. Young was a partner of Advanced Radiology Associates of Southern Tennessee in Winchester, Tennessee. Dr. Young is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American College of Radiology and Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. In his spare time, Dr. Young enjoys golf, running, hiking and skiing.
