    When is a radiologist available?

    Radiology Alliance radiologists are available 24 hours/day, seven days/week.

    What is the location of the radiologists who interpret the images and provide reports?

    Radiologists are staffed at each TriStar Hospital from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and at most of our outpatient imaging locations from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Every evening from 5-11 p.m., we have radiologists on duty at our Central Read location. Interventional radiologists are on call after 5 p.m. for emergency procedures. A radiologist is available 24 hours/day for emergency consultations.

    How can I reach a radiologist after daytime business hours?
    To reach an interventional or general radiologist after 5 p.m., please call our Answering Service at (888) 467-7833.
    What exam should I order?
    If you are uncertain about the type of study to be ordered, please consult with one of our radiologists at any of our locations. Also, the ACR Appropriateness Criteria® is an excellent source of information on the type of exam to order. Visit www.acr.org/ac.
    When should I order a study with contrast?

    Due to a variety of conditions and reasons for ordering exams, this answer is not always the same. If you are uncertain whether a study should be ordered with contrast, please consult with one of our radiologists or write "Contrast if needed" on the referral form and the radiologist will make the determination.

    Is online access available for my patient's images and reports?

    Please contact your preferred location about online access for your images and reports.
